Who we are

This website is operated by Qwest Industries UK LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. If you complete the quote form, that means:

• Your name
• Your phone number and email address
• Your postcode and property type
• Which services you're interested in, and your typical monthly bill range
• Anything else you write in the message box

The savings calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into it is sent to us or stored anywhere.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange your free survey and prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

We will not use your details for marketing unless you have separately agreed to that, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only where it's necessary to do the work — for example with the installer or supplier carrying out part of your installation — or where we're required to by law.

This site is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions are processed through their infrastructure on our behalf.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn't lead to work, we keep your details for up to two years in case you come back to us, then delete them. If we do carry out work for you, we keep the records for as long as we need to for warranty, accounting and legal purposes.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The only third-party request the site makes is to Google Fonts, which serves the typeface used across the pages.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
• Have inaccurate information corrected
• Ask us to delete your information
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
• Withdraw consent where we relied on it

To exercise any of these, contact us on the number or email address above. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page.
