Heating is most of your bill
Within the UK the biggest part of your energy consumption is heating both the internal living space and the water. Combined, that's 75–80% of your energy consumption. Any savings in this area make a significant reduction to your bill.
Infrared heating can run off electricity from renewable sources such as solar PV, and has no maintenance requirements — saving on annual service costs too. The panels are compatible with thermostats and motion sensors, so you only pay for the heating you actually need.
Heating objects, not air
Convection heat is constantly battling the air in the room. It relies on the circulation of warm air, so the temperature varies as heated air rises to the ceiling and heavy cold air sinks to the floor. The best way to combat that is to insulate the space and keep doors and windows closed.
The energy produced by infrared heating panels is more responsive and allows for greater controllability — heating objects and walls, which then radiate that heat back out into the room.
Why customers choose it
Space heating is dependent on levels of insulation, draft properties and external temperature for energy usage.
